HITS Team EAGALA Certification Training

Updated: Nov 4, 2023

The HITS team, made up of licensed psychiatric nurses, counselors, and equestrians, is on a mission to step up their game. They're getting certified by the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA) to improve the care they provide in their program.

EAGALA, or The Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association, has big dreams. They want to make sure that anyone, no matter where they are in the world, can get the benefits of their EAGALA Model services. That's a pretty cool goal, right?

Their mission is all about setting high standards, supporting professionals, and teaching them how to change lives using the EAGALA Model. This mission lines up perfectly with what the HITS team wants to achieve in helping their patients and veterans.

So, what's all the fuss about this EAGALA certification? Well, the HITS team believes it'll make their therapy even better. By taking on EAGALA's approach, they aim to offer treatments that are based on solid evidence and work really well.

Right now, they're in Leesburg, Virginia, soaking up the EAGALA training, and they're pretty stoked about it. They're looking forward to improving their skills and techniques according to EAGALA's standards.

In a nutshell, the HITS team's decision to get EAGALA certified is all about their commitment to making the lives of their patients and veterans better. By following the EAGALA Model, they're ready to provide more effective and evidence-backed therapy. As they keep working hard to level up their standards, they're getting closer to making EAGALA's vision a reality—making their services accessible to people all around the world, and changing lives for the better.
