The Post and Courier showcased the new therapeutic flower arrangement initiative and workshops at Hoofprints in the Sand (HITS)! A beautiful initiative, blending creativity with therapy for Veterans and those suffering from PTSD and trauma. Offering such therapeutic workshops can be deeply healing for veterans and civilians alike, allowing them to express emotions and connect with others in a meaningful way. HITS' own, Jennifer Brunner, utilizes her extensive background in flower arranging and her passion for serving the community played a pivotal role in bringing this program to life.
Welcome to the Therapeutic Floral Workshop at HITS! The combination of hydrangeas, mums, roses, delphiniums, and other flowers surely made for a stunning display, and the act of arranging them likely offered participants a peaceful and meditative experience. It’s not just about the end result of a bouquet, but the process itself — the calming nature of working with flowers and the opportunity to reflect on personal experiences.
